How the ECCG Grant Works

We manage the entire process. Your council has four simple checkpoints — nothing more.

1

AGM Resolution

Your MCST passes a resolution to install EV chargers. We provide a ready-to-use motion template and can brief your managing agent or council directly before the meeting so residents have all the facts they need to vote confidently.

⏱ Week 1–2 🤚 You only need: call the AGM vote
2

Grant Application

We compile all required documents, submit the BGP application on your MCST's behalf, and track the Letter of Offer. No forms for your council to navigate — we know the portal and the requirements inside out.

⏱ 2–4 weeks 🤚 You only need: sign the Letter of Confirmation
3

Installation

Our in-house LEW-certified team installs LTA-approved chargers with minimal disruption to residents. All cabling, mounting, and commissioning is handled by our own employees — no subcontractors, no delays, one accountability chain.

⏱ 1–2 days on-site 🤚 You only need: approve the installation schedule
4

Claims & Handover

We submit the BGP claim, handle the e-invoice to Vendors@Gov, and hand over the OCPP-enabled system with full user documentation. Your MCST receives the grant reimbursement directly.

⏱ 2–3 weeks post-installation 🤚 You only need: receive the grant reimbursement

🏗️ BCA-Registered Builder

Not just an electrical contractor. We are a licensed General Builder — the same category of company your MCST already engages for building maintenance and upgrading works. Procuring us satisfies the requirements your managing agent and council expect, with zero procurement risk.

📋 Full Grant Management

We prepare and submit the BGP application, track your Letter of Offer, coordinate the LEW inspection, and submit the reimbursement claim to Vendors@Gov. Your council does not touch a single government portal form throughout the process. End to end, we handle it.

⚡ In-House LEW Team

Our Licensed Electrical Workers are direct employees, not subcontractors. That means faster scheduling, a single point of accountability, and no markup on electrical labour costs. All LEW fees are covered under the ECCG grant sub-cap of $1,000 per charger.

🛡️ S$2M Liability Insurance

MCST councils are fully protected. We carry S$2 million public liability insurance on every project. Full insurance documentation is provided at point of engagement — your managing agent and council have everything they need for their procurement and governance records.

What Property Managers Say

"We were dreading the ECCG grant paperwork, but Adobha Energy handled everything. From the BGP application to installation to claims submission — our council didn't have to do anything except approve the AGM resolution. The chargers were live within 3 months."
— Property Manager, Residential Condominium, Bishan
"Finally a contractor who understands MCST procurement. BCA-licensed, full insurance documentation, and they briefed our managing agent directly. Installation was done on a weeknight to avoid disrupting residents."
— MCST Council Chairman, East Coast Development

Common Questions from MCST Committees

We haven't passed the AGM resolution yet — can we still enquire?
Yes. We recommend contacting us before the AGM so we can provide a briefing pack and cost estimate to present to residents. The resolution must be passed before we submit the BGP application, but you can engage us for planning well before that. Many MCSTs find that a detailed cost-and-grant breakdown helps win resident approval at the meeting.
Who actually applies for the ECCG grant — the MCST or Adobha Energy?
The MCST or the EVCO (charger operator) applies. Adobha Energy prepares all the documents and submits the application on your behalf through the Business Grants Portal. Your role is to sign the Letter of Confirmation and accept the Letter of Offer. We handle the rest — portal login, document uploads, status tracking, and the final claim submission.
What if only 5–10 residents have EVs now — is it worth installing?
Yes — and the grant still makes it worth it. The ECCG covers 50% of installation costs up to $3,000 per charger for current applicants (the earlier $4,000 tier is now largely filled). That means a typical 4-charger installation costing ~$24,000 gets $12,000 back from the government. As EV adoption accelerates (Singapore targets 60,000 charging points by 2030), installing now with grant support is far cheaper than installing later without it. Starting with 2–4 chargers is common and the infrastructure scales as demand grows.
Will installation disrupt residents' parking?
Our team installs during off-peak hours — typically evenings or weekends. A standard condo installation of 2–4 chargers takes 1–2 days. We coordinate with your management office in advance to designate temporary alternative parking and communicate the schedule to affected residents.
Are the chargers LTA-approved? Will they work with all EV brands?
Yes. Our chargers carry Singapore LTA Type Approval (LT100000K). They use the Type 2 connector — the Singapore standard — compatible with all EVs currently sold in Singapore, including Tesla, Hyundai IONIQ, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, BYD, and more. All certifications (UL, CB, CE, RoHS) are available for your council's records.
